My GoPro Hero 5 Black continually flashes/beeps three times over and over again.  It doesn't matter which battery or micro SD card is in the camera.  I'm unable to get to any menus and it will not show up on my desktop.

It is odd for the camera to be doing such. Is this a new camera that you got? Are you getting any information/symbol on either the front or the back screen of the camera? Try this, connect the camera directly to a power source without the battery and the SD card and see if the camera powers on and allows you access to menus. In my experience with this, I've found is that it's out of juice. My cameras will do that even when plugged in. I would suggest unplugging your power, plugging it back in and then letting it charge for 30minutes before trying to turn it on again.

Gopro should have a list of  what each beep does .  they do have some of them listed in the manual.

 if your sd card is EMPTY it will  do something like what  you are saying. so i   take the sd  card do not a quck but a full format it may halp give a try. never know.

When updating the camera, it would do that (the camera would turn on and off). Now I'm not sure of the beeping noise because I turned mine off. It could be beeping during the updates if I've set the sound off.

Another time it would beep three times is when it's done recording. When hitting the record button once, it'll beep once. After hitting it again, it will beep once and then three times. There will be a long beep (1-2 sec) if you swipe right from the left side of the camera, indicating that there's nothing on the SD card.

Now, because I don't have the beep on my camera, there could be some sort of beeping patterns to warn you that the camera is about to be out of battery. Other than that, those are the only occasions that I would hear the beep, given that I turn it on.
