Hi, I have bought the hero5 session so I can upload 4K on the go and after finding out I cannot use my iPhone 5s or iPad mini to upload/download from the capture app I had to look at new tech. Over 2 weeks I have finally been told that you cannot do this as there is no tech available to do this currently. I'm not exactly speechless at the finding (choose your own expletive, I did) feels like false marketing to me!! Any way is there anyone who has and how did you do it. Thanks

No, my question is if anyone knows of any tech that you can upload/download 4K via the capture app out in the field. As far as go pro themselves say there is nothing. So why market a camera that they say you can upload 4K any where.
So you think and Iphone 5S is 4K, and will support 4K? that to me is the question.

Thanks but not the solution I am looking for. The camera description says you can upload on the go from your mobile and do this via the capture app. That works but only in 1080 30fps. Any higher and it will not download from the camera to a phone to upload. 4K will not download onto my current phone or iPad so asked what you can do this via but go pro say there is nothing that can handle the 4K. Making this part of the camera useless as you can only use 1080 30fps.

How do they load off of the capture app with a supported device? I just put on my capture and hero 5 and the LRV filesdo say today a low res video is being... in blue. the good part is I cansee it. and that I am happy I thought the 6+ and 7+ are 4k suppported.
