Migrating fusion photos to new iphone

Hi, I have a bunch of photos and videos from both a GoPro Hero 6 and a GoPro Fusion in my GoPro App on an iPhone 7 (they are not in my cameras any more). I’m in the process of changing my phone but I find my self unable to migrate my footage to my new iPhone. Is there a way to do this without paying for GoPro Plus?? After spending close to 2,000usd on cameras and accesories I should be able to export or transfer raw footage right??

Hi @alejandrod586

The Fusion files are stored on the app itself.

As a workaround, you may upload the file to YouTube or a similar platform, then download it on the new phone.

However this will no longer be a native GoPro file.

Thanks!

Ej

Hi @alejandrod586

You may try to upload it via Airdrop if you are using both iPhones.

Or you may try other cloud storage Dropbox, Google drive etc.

Alternatively you may transfer the files manually via computer, then transfer them to your new phone.

Thanks!

That won’t work... the fusion footage (360deg) is not on my “Photos”.
