I'm currently working with my GoPro Hero 8 and I need to determine its orientation. In the metadata, I see two options:
- CORI: Quaternion representing the camera's orientation for each frame (60 Hz in my case)
- ACCL and GYRO fusion: Using Madgwick's filter, I'm able to estimate the orientation of the camera (200 Hz)
Which one is more precise? With a higher frequency, will my estimation will be better? Currently, I compared the data on Matlab, and I find the CORI's result less accurate.
