Media not showing up in Gopro Quik desktop and iphone app

Hi,

I connected my Gopro using USB to my desktop, the gropro is not detected, nor the files; I tried using the quik app, but nothing is shown there. So I tried connected it to my iphone using wifi and the device can be detected. I can control the device by my phone, taking pictures and filming, the newly-taken media file is shown, as well as the very old files, but not those I took in the last few days! The "missing" files are still in the SD card and I could see them via my gopro, just not able to upload them either to my phone and my laptop.

How could I solve this problem?

Thank you.

Re: Media not showing up in Gopro Quik desktop and iphone app

Hi @cycsuki

Please try the steps on Camera is Not Recognized on Quik for desktop - Windows

You can also try this: go to Device Manager> Find GoPro> Select "Disable" then "Enable"

For the missing files, please try to scroll down all the way to the bottom of the Media page.
See if the files were just back-dated.

Thanks!
Ej
