Max is not seen by computer [ New ]

HI, 

I'm unable to connect my max via USB. It's not showing up in the explorer. Device manager sees MTP in Portable Devices, the camera itself is showing "USB connected" on the screen. I've tryed all I could find in the support forums (uninstalling MTP driver, diferent cables, diferent ports, different sequences while connecting (connect usb- switch on; switch on - connect usb), I've updated windows, camera is also updated, but still the only way I'm able to get my files is through sd card adapter. 

I'm using Acer nitro 5 (AN515-52), Win 10 ver 2004.

Anything else I could try?

Please go over the steps on Camera is not Recognized when Plugged into a Computer USB Port

If it's still the same, we suggest using the SD card adapter option.

Well, that did not work. And as I said, adapter is not very convenient for me. I'm quite dissapointed after spending so much money on a thing that does not work properly and the best you can suggest is a workaround.
