MacBook doesn't see my go pro

[ New ]

Hi there!

My MacBook Pro 2017 doesn't see my go pro when I connecte wirth USB. I've already tried resetting my USB settings (https://gopro.com/help/articles/Solutions_Troubleshooting/Camera-is-not-recognized-on-GoPro-App-for-...) but it didn't help at all. Also my gopro wouldn't update :(

Anybody knows how to fix this?

Except inserting an SD card directly into the mac, I don't have the adopter, so that's not an option for me.

Thanks!

Julia

Hi @hardycliff80456

If there is a pending update on your camera, you can have it completed via the GoPro app.

Otherwise, a manual update(requires an SD adapter) is recommended.

In most cases, doing a manual update clears our this type of issue.

I hope you can proceed with the update soon.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks!

Ej
