Lots of road noise when filming inside a car. Help!

[ Edited ]

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a Hero4 Silver camera to record me speaking in the car for a video. Unfortunately after i had shot the video and watched it back i noticed that there is lots of background road noise as i was driving while talking. You can still hear what i am saying but the road noise is very annoying and would put others off from watching it.

Does anyone know how to solve this? I had the camera in the regular housing with skeleton back and it was mounted onto the windscreen via suction mount. I have seen plenty videos online which have been filmed on a GoPro and none of them appear to have this issue...

Thanks!
