Long exposure red blue pixels GoPro8

[ New ]
When I do long exposure at night, the photos are getting red and blue pixels each time at the same pixels.
Do someone have same experience?
Are the pixels defect?
Is this and issue and common?
Thx

Ok it looks like that I am not allone with that problem😑
Do you know if the older versions of GoPro had similar problems that fixed with updates?

@fleetjump63812, sorry to hear about the trouble. The image quality issues in a GoPro camera can usually be resolved by manually reinstalling the firmware update of the camera as it can help correct any errors with the current software installation. Follow the Manual Update instructions specified in this article: https://community.gopro.com/t5/en/How-to-Update-GoPro-Cameras/ta-p/394229

If the issue persists, our Support team will be able to assist you with the next steps. You may reach out to them through https://gopro.com/help/ContactUs to initiate a callback request or chat with one of the representatives.

GoPro  releases new App  firmware but yet they can fix existing gopro problems.   firmware flashing did not resolve it. and  only  way to get the it fixed is to replace the camera under warranty.  so those who hardly use nightlapse  will not know till its to late

Resolution to teh issue can be a simple Manual update. i will recheck again.  and I will place a paper where I see that spot and rule out   DEPTH

@fishycomics The easy way to find red and blue dots is to turn the camera face down on the table and use the night mode.

You can save the image and zoom in.

Note: already manual install firmware, factory reset ,format sd card
