Lens replacement options (Fusion)
[ New ]This camera looks amazing.
But it also looks like I would be going through a lens or two if it takes a fall.
What are the lens replacement options?

Re: Lens replacement options (Fusion)
[ New ]@joshuat635 - The lenses on the Fusion are not removable. It's best to use the case cover that comes with the Fusion to protect the lenses when the Fusion is not in use.

[ New ]If you signup for GoPro Plus it covers accidental damage. Cost is $4.99/mo and includes two camera exchanges per year at $139 each.

Re: Lens replacement options (Fusion)
[ New ]So the outer lenses are non replacable, one simple rub on the concrete its over, you're saying, the simplesolution is a case cover to use, that I know.

Re: Lens replacement options (Fusion)
[ New ]I'm counting on some 3rd party protective lense covers to be ready upon release. That or for GoPro to make those lenses removable with some sort of tool. I don't care if it requies multiple steps and an hour of my time... not being able to protect / replace the exposed lens on a $700 camera is crazy.
Virb 360 offers replacemnt lens covers. But that cam footy doesn't look nearly as nice to me.
I suppose worst-case scenario is I need to shell out for GoPro care and just send it in for repairs if it bites the dust.

Re: Lens replacement options (Fusion)
[ New ]That's not so much of a concern considering the Hero5 / 6 has a replaceable lens cover.
