Lens cover gap

[ New ]
Hi, is there any other way to close the gap on one side of the lens cover as i noticed that it is lifted on the right side out of the box.
Is it just a twist of screw inside or it is a defect?

The o ring is there but it is not fully wrapped around the area it is supposed to sit. Looks like the o ring is bigger than it should. There is an excess protruding rubber in the area.

if you feel the O-ring is going be faulty call gopro.  it was not easy getting it off right so that to me says its SEALED.

Hi @agilesand55420,

Please try to gradually use it on water.

But before you do that ask our customer support team first if you're still eligible for replacement.

So that you can guarantee that your camera will be free from leak.

Regards,

-Jay

I take a  tray and fill it about 1/2 a inch and let the lens cap sit just pass the line front face down.  if that is what gradually means to the OP not to DUNK it.
