Karma Stabilizer Will Not Update [ New ]

Ive updated my GOPRO Hero 5 camera and the Grip. But now the QUIK app is telling me there is an update for the Stabilizer to v2.0 but when I click "update" and accept the terms & conditions I receive an error that says "Could Not Complete Update...something went wrong and the firmware for Karma Grip could not be completed. Try again, or contact customer support for help". 

I have a solid red light (at the bottom) on the grip along with a blinking white light (at the top). The grip will not work at all. 

I have followed the advice to no avail on the hub:

I have tried a hard reset again no joy.  I have been trying to get this sorted for a day now and I have to do an important piece of work with the device next week.

This did not work the issue is with the stabiliser which is not on the correct version.
How do I update the firmware on the stabiliser when I have no Karma controller

Hi @totw1

Please follow the steps on the link.

You only need to connect the Karma grip to your computer using a USB-C cable.

Though it is labeled as "controller" it is referring to the grip.
