Is This Normal
[ New ]When I play and view my video (first one I've recorded on Hero8) of granddaughter's wedding on the Hero8 it plays continously for 27 minutes. When viewed on either PC or Mac desktop it is in three separate files of 8+ minutes each. Why is this and is it normal? Each of the files indicate to be the same 4.01GB size.

Re: Is This Normal
[ New ]Yes this is perfectly normal, it's called File Chaptering and it's how all GoPro's work.
Your files are divided up into 4GB chunks, this is done to protect the files from damage or corruption. They can be quickly and easily joined back together in any video editor.
