The Samsung Pro, Pro+ and Pro Select offer the write speed you mentioned but not the Evo Select or Evo Plus. They have a 20mb write speed.

Samsung Pro (GoPro recommended card) http://www.storagereview.com/samsung_microsd_pro_32gb_memory_card_review_mbmg32da_am

It's best to stick with cards that GoPro has tested. That's not to say other cards won't work, but there is no guarantee that they won't have issues. Considering the amount of issues people have had using cards not on the list, it's best to stick with recommending cards from the list that have been tested and are known to work. There is no good reason to recommend any other card, no matter what your personal experience may be.

I agree SanDisk Ultra should be avoided, however I've seen plenty of people who use the SanDisk Ultra (perhaps the worst card for a GoPro camera) without issue. However, for every one person that it works for, there are hundreds (if not thousands) that have issues with it, myself included on more than one GoPro model.

I've also read some that use PNY and say it works great. I've also heard from those who say they have had issues. When trouble shooting or making recommendations, this is the list to use https://gopro.com/help/articles/Block/microSD-Card-Considerations

For best performance without issues, don't use an EVO. Choose a card from this list https://gopro.com/help/articles/Block/microSD-Card-Considerations

I use  the Samsung Evo Select it is a 90 mb write speed read is  to believe  to be 100 read.  GoPro will decide which cards that work quite well for the camera and can be visited at their shop

NTW its the 128gb card at 44.00 purchase. I also use a PNY elite, along with a samsung older model that was removed off gopros list also along with  the sandisk extreme plus.    the Ultras by sandisk  are to be avoided.

so that would be  "A slow  card" funny thin is   you really do not need a super fast card but it is what gopro pushs us to 45mb write is hte   speed that will work. 90mb write is   the top end cards and mor tehn enough today.  the select  is the  higher end card and  for anyone not wanting to spend what otehrs don't have
