Image Error - Pink & purple strips across footage

I've got a brand new Hero 5 and ever since while reviewing the footage there's always split seconds of either green or purple pink strips

I thought I was going crazy until I was able to screenshot it

I format my camera before each shoot and I used a Sandisk extreme Sd card which is up to 90mb/s

Help!

Re: Image Error - Pink & purple strips across footage

This has been reported by a few other users as well.  It seems that this artifact can occur on 2.7K/60fps with EIS on.  I've never seen it on my cameras and a few people reported that it went away after changing to a new SD card.  I use Samsung Pro and Lexar 1000x.  Be sure to run the manual update (even if you are on the latest firmware) and try again.  If it still comes up, contact the GoPro Support team.  You might need to arrange for an exchange camera.  Be sure to list all of the steps you have tried, the SD card(s) used, and example screen shots like you provided here.  It will speed the process.
