I want to switch wifi band, but the “WI-Fi Band” setting preference is not displayed.
How can I do it?
HERO7 black, ver1.51
The support page has the following explanation ...
HERO7 Black, Silver & White
- Swipe down on the camera’s back LCD and tap Preferences
- Tap Connections and scroll down to tap on Wi-Fi Band
- Select 2.4GHz and attempt to reconnect to the camera.

Does the preference on your camera shown ornot at all? if not then I suggest to take a photo of it and post up, and then manually firmware flash again, if it still doesnot exist then please call contactus on gopro'swebsite not smartphone mobile app.

My Hero 7 reference screen has no WiFi band display as shown in the attached picture.
I will update the firmware manually, but other functions are fine.
( It is a little out of focus )

mine is there.
Im with @fishycomics on the same page....the only I can think off is a manual software (re)update - the one you copy the new files in the UPDATE folder on your microSD card....
please let us know the outcome.

Does the specification differ in the area where it sells?
This camera was purchased from an authorized distributor in Japan.
I wanted to connect to FeiyuTech G6 and use it, but G6 can only connect at 2.4 GHz.
GoPro explained that it is possible to switch Wi-Fi band.
Unfortunately it does not seem to be possible...

I contacted an authorized distributor.
I got a response saying that it was set not to change the band in Japan.
There was no explanation for a clear reason.
Unfortunately, there is no choice but to accept it if it is a specification.
I would like to ask gopro to abolish meaningless restrictions and clear explanation of specifications.
It's a very good product ...
