I have the hero 3+ black (SN: H3B B101304F0D0). Camera does not start.

I have the hero 3+ black (SN: H3B+B101304F0D0). Camera does not start. I have to remove the battery and put it back again, sometimes several times. Then sometimes it works, it starts and shuts off as normal. If i leave it off function for several minutes then it will not start. I have to reinstall the battery. Sometimes the activity light is constantly lit but the camera will not start. The battery is always charged.
By some online research i understand that this is a software freeze problem.
How can i get my camera back to normal function?
I have the last updated software v.03.03.

Hi @nikosv,

 

You can reinstall new camera firmware and Wi-Fi Update.

After installing new Wi-Fi and firmware update. 

Check your battery if it's not defective. 

Try to use other SD card as well since it's causing the problem most of the time.

Visit that website for list of recommended SD card.

Hi jay, 

thank you for your reply. I have re-installed the firmware; tested 2-3 batteries and another sd-card with no success. 
The camera will not start. After removing the battery multiple times and playing with the buttoms maybe it will start. The battery fully charged all the time. If the camera will start, then it will start and close normaly but if i leave it maybe half an hour inactivated it will never start again.

Please try to contact GoPro customer support so that they could check. 

Not really sure if it's a battery problem or it's already the hardware of your camera.
