I have a new Scandisk Extreme Plus 64GB V30 card in my Go Pro and it continually states error

My Hero5 Black continually states error with card, it then repairs re-starts then the error message reappears again. I took the camera to Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore and could not use it once. I'm extremely disappointed with the camera. why is this? I attempted reformatting but it makes no difference.

Have you tried a different card?
