I feel ripped off because Gopro sold me a Hero 6 as "latest model" 4 weeks ago

I just purchased a Gopro Hero 6 in this shop 4 weeks ago for FULL price.

Now I feel stupid, because suddeny there is a Hero 7.

Thats really stupid Gopro!

I wanted the latest model and now I have a model with software-freeze problems and what not.

RIPP OFF!

we get this everytime a new model is launched, however its been public knowledge for alot longer than 4wks that the Hero 7 was coming sometime in September

i dont think so. i studied tests 4 weeks before i bought the hero6 and NEVER EVER someone mentioned a hero7.

so what you call "public knowledge" must be a knowledge only available to experts but not for a normal customer.

also NOWHERE on the gopro-website there was any info about the hero7 when i bougth the hero6.

instead there was a huge advertisement to buy the hero6 as "most awsome and greatest and what not **bleep**" camera ever.

cleary misleading information for the customer to buy the old model.

 

seriously guys, are YOU happy with that politics?

oh dear, you expected GoPro to but a public notice on its own website 4wks ago that the 6 was getting replaced. A bit of advanced warning for you, in 12mths time they'll probably replace the Hero 7, & they probably won't email you about that either

You just purchased at this shop 4 weeks ago that will be 28 days, you still have  2 days fleft for a return , did you contact a  technical support rep by phone?
