Hello @noblestoke12888

You will need to manually update your camera so you can reset its Wi-Fi name and password. The steps below will guide you:

  1. From the HERO3 update page click "Update your camera manually" to begin.
  2. On the first page, enter your serial number and the email address associated with your GoPro Account. Check appropriate boxes, then click "Next Step."
  3. On the next page, select 'Wi-Fi Update Only' with the blue check mark and click "Next Step."
  4. On the next page, enter your new camera name and password.
  5. Follow the rest of the on-screen prompts to complete the rest of the update process.

Make sure that you are using a recommended SD card like what's found on this list, and that the camera battery is at least 50% in charge.

Feel free to post back for any other concerns or questions.

Thanks,
Marius
