How to FIX: A low-level exception occurred in AE.GoPro VR Reframe (GPUVideoFitler::CreateInstance)
[ New ]Hi,
When I try to use the GoPro VR plugins I get this error message "A low-level exception occurred in AE.GoPro VR Reframe (GPUVideoFitler::CreateInstance)" and the plugin doesn't work. I have tried to reinstall premiere and reset all user preferences.
I have removed all the plugin files from my system (with help from Adobe support) and tried to re-install them, but the Fusion studio installer doesn't install them and the place where I got the plugin installers last time Kolor.com is down...
So how can I get my reframe to work again:
This is the error message I get when I tried to use the plugins:
A low-level exception occurred in AE.GoPro VR Reframe (GPUVideoFitler::CreateInstance)

[ New ]Try this method if you are using the Mac version of Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects CC
In the project, go up to File - Project Settings - General
Change your renderer settings to Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (OpenCL) Most likely we will see this error if you set it to Metal.
From there, press OK to Save your settings. Apply the GoPro VR ReFrame again and there shouldn't be a red line along your clip requiring you to render.
Let us know if that resolves your issue.
