Hot or dead pixels on brand new GoPro 8 footage

Hi All,

i have just bought a gopro 8 for a holiday in Mexico over christmas. I have been playing about with some night timelapses in sunny old england, and have noticed what I think are hot or dead pixels in the footage. i have cleaned the lens and they appear on multiple timelapses. Is this something that is considered a fault? i have attached a picture with 4 that I can see easily, but they may be more.

Thanks in advance...

Nick

@nickbedford - These can sometimes appear in low light shots. If you reach out to our Support team at https://gopro.com/help/ContactUs, we can troubleshoot this to see if this is related to SD card, the firmware, or the sensor. Thanks.

very relevant topic. so ukak it is not only with you. And I don’t think that it is because of SD cards
