Hero8 black has blue line on display screen

I have just unboxed my Hero8, haven’t used it for any recording or photos yet and after powering it on and off a few times after software updates through the app I have noticed a blue line through the screen. This doesn’t go away when powered off or even through a hard reset. How do I solve this? Pretty guttered as I just bought it (wasn’t cheap either) and now I can’t I see it! (Shown in photo cross cutting the lower screen near the word “Preferences”. Any help appreciated!

Please proceed with a manual update. https://gopro.com/en/us/update
This usually clears out any errors that may have been encountered with the previous installation.
Once done, reset the camera to its factory settings. https://community.gopro.com/t5/en/Reset-Camera-Settings/ta-p/388279

As this is a recent purchase, you may also refer to the same store/channel you got the camera from.
