Just purchased a hero7 white, I was testing the videos and audito and realised that when recording (with and without the case) there is a background noise (like when the tv doesn't have signal or the washing machine) zzzzzzzzz, very anoying! Anyone knows hot to fix it? Have I done something incorrect? My previous hero camera didn't do any weird noise at all.

Hi, I did the manual update and checked my SD. It is a Sandisk Ultra 128GB, apparently not in the gopro list. So I bought a Sandisk Extreme to test with it and will see what happens with the sound.
Anyway, I recorded a short video with the hero7 (without the case) and the Sandisk Ultra and the distourbing continuous sound zzzzzzz is always there. Unfortunately I cannod attach it.
Then, the sounds you hear when using the case and the stick..that´s another story :(

Thanks for getting back to us @leyrem4420
I hope you get to test the camera with the recommended SD card soon.
Feel free to post back regarding the results.

Update - I run manual update and tested the camera with my new recommended SD card Sandisk Extreme 128GB and unfortunately the background noise is still there, loud and very disturbing, I am pretty upset. Has anyone had similar problem with a happy ending? Do you know if it would be possible to remove the annoying sounds when I edit the videos? I am beginning to think it is a real problem with the gopro7 white (some kind of defect), will gopro experts/support will be able to help me with my issue? Thanks very much

Yes, you can edit out the sound, but since this is not typical behavior, you should exchange the camera for one that does not make this sound. My son has the HERO7 White and it does not make this sound.
One thing you can do as a last ditch effort. Soak the camera in clean water for about 20 minutes and then rinse thoroughly. It's a long shot, but perhaps there is just something in the drain channels.
