I understand the GPH7B has EIS-Stablization which for most cases results in quite a smooth video but with EIS-ON it does not result in smooth side panning videos wit the result been jittery-jerky video.
After much experimeting and research I deciced to invest in a GoPro Karma Gimbal and to my shock the video is still jittery/jerky when doing side panning videos.
Video Settings below
EV Comp 0
ISO Min 200
ISO Max 800
I've also tried with Protune Off,reset camera to factory defaults, wiped memory card (Specs below)
SanDisk Extreme Pro microSDXC 64GB SD Card
I noticed that the GP Karma Gimbal with auto disable stabilization on the GPH7B but I've also tried disabing EIS on the GPH7B before connecting it to the Karam Gimbal.
Why is it that even with the Gimbal the video is jittery/jerky when doing side panning ?
I though the Gimbals were meant to eliminate this issue, keen to hear if anyone has had this issue and or advice (if there's a solution).

Hello @darsenator. Which firmware version is your HERO7 Black camera running on? If you haven't yet, re-flash camera firmware following the instructions below. This will help get rid of any possible issue with the current installation.
- Go to the Update page and choose your HERO7 camera.
- Under "Other ways to update" at the base of the page, click "Update your camera manually."
- Enter your Serial Number and other requested information, click Next Step.
- Click "Download Update."
- Click "Click here to download firmware."
- Follow the steps on the screen for detailed instructions for your operating system.
Make sure that the camera is fully charged prior to the update process, and that the SD card is formatted. Let us know how it works out. Thanks!

I noticed it on playback via PC (But I've tried 3 different PCs and same issue).
The main pc I'm viewing them is as below
AMD Raedon R7 350x
Dell Optiplex 7040
Tried using VLC media player.

I was on 1.7 (originally updated via GoPro App) but now also finished re-updating manually.
Because it's night time now, I'll try some videos tomorrow with daylight.
I'll try filming the same scene by using different settings including Gimbal with EIS off (which the Karma Gimbal disabled by default on the GPH7B) and also out of the Gimbal using a GP 3 way Tripod with EIS on and also off.
I'll also try it with PT on and off too...
I'll provide an update tomorrow.
