Hero6 Black LCD dims after 1 minute recording while in super suit underwater housing making it nearly impossible to properly frame subjects. Screensaver is set to never, LCD brightness is set to 100% yet after 1 min it dims making it nearly useless (cannot touch screen underwater). Any fixes for this???? Same issue with my Hero5 Black.... Do GoPro staff even read these? Would appreciate a reply asap.

GoPro screen will turn off after a minuted, on screen saver it will Dim on Never but will not turn off. GoPro has set up thescreen saver this way to adjust down some, they think it's best and should have offered two options in Never. dimmable and non dimmable. you clearly said OFF in Never correct?

This maybe an issue with the sensor, being affected by increasing water pressure as you go deeper into water, but we would like to gather more specific information so we can be certain. Called you guys and talked to someone who said they'd open a support ticket and email me for more info so the experts can help out. The email never came.
Turns out, if you tap the Mode button while recording it will turn the lcd back up to full brightness without interrupting the recording much. You then have another 1 min until it dims again... rinse and repeat. Guess that will have to do for now.
GoPro, in your next firmware update you should add a setting that allows people to set when the lcd dims during recording. 1 min (default now), 3, 5, 10 mins, never - would be good imo. Also, chosing how much it dims would be useful too. What's it dim to now? 30%? 40%?
What's weird is that you have a screensaver function (actually a battery saver function) yet no mention of the screen dimming at 1 minute. Suggest a manual update as well.

I agree - this is a real problem when filming.
It is not acceptable to have to press a button or tap the screen every minute just in order to see what I'm filming.
Please fix this by adding an option so that I control when the screen dims.
