The day after I got the camera the screen went black but still gave feedback and stil connected to my phone with no problem. As a couple weeks pass the feedback from camera stopped but still connected and recorded. Just no screen, so i go in today to try and fix this problem now my camera won't connect to my phone and the screen is still black. What do I do now?

Make sure to follow manual update steps for HERO5 Black.
Reformat your SD card first.

You need to reformat your SD card on your computer using SD card adapter.
Please follow the manual update steps on that link or just follow the steps posted here: https://gopro.com/update
After that choose your camera model.
From there enter your serial number and email address and there will be series of instruction that you need to follow.
