Hmm, I'll have to check it out when I get a chance. If you are seeing the ev then you are in Protune and should have access to shutter speeds. If I remember correctly it's a two step process whereby you have to lock the ISO first and then the shutter speed. It could be the other way around, but I seem to think that I have to go into ISO and lock it at 400 and then select my shutter speed and then go back to ISO if I want 100.

Shutter speed is broken in firmware v2.00, you should revert to v1.50. Google "Hero 5 Session and Black Firmwares" with quotes and install v1.50 manually (sd card way)

where do I find the 1.5 ...( why 1.50 ? I think the latest was the 1.57 firmware to revert ) ... I googled but always end up with a link to the 2.0 !!
GoPro - please put the old firmware online until you solved the missing shutter control function.
and yes, I checked again .. its not a 2step process ( which would be a little bit odd anyway, why link the controls of ISO and shutter ?? )
shutter control is simply gone in 2.0

Just google "Hero 5 Session and Black Firmwares" with quotes, the first result should be form the alternative GoPro forums. There, click on number 5 of "Hero 5 Sessiom" to access the files and download v1.50.
v1.57 is for the Hero5 Black, not Session.
The two step process is for changing the ISO mode:
- Protune ON
- Change Shutter speed to anything other than Auto
- You can now change ISO mode from Max to Lock
