Hero5 black stop responding while trying to record video? defective?
[ New ]i got a Hero5 black, only after a few months of use, and I am not a GoPro Pro either, but only after a few months, the camera started to not respond and goes black, like its off, requiring a full reboot, even pulling out the battery. Is this a known problem? $450 for the camera is quite a price to pay for this type of quality?

Does your camera screen go black all the time, or only when doing certain functions like recording?
There may be a firmware issue with the camera. We can try doing a manual update. You can follow this link: https://gopro.com/update/hero5 for guide on how to do it.
