Seems that wifi wont turn on, reset it according instructions but now wont let me add.
cycle info button unti APP is on screen, push top button and nothing happens excep a beep, no checkmark, no pin given nothing.

says its version 2.0.0 , although on the web the version should be much lower...maybe gopro has not updated its website.
How do I do a manual update...maybe it will fix problem which just started today...had been fine for weeks.

Looks like it, very annoyed as the online Chat TEch told me its probably a bad camera and since its 13 months old its out of warranty.
What a piece of Sh...T policy. I have two of these sessions and two of the older versions wiith tons of accessories. if GoPro does not stand behind its products it will get awful reviews

i have tried to do a maual update however the serial number is not accepted! i have checked against what my computer says for the serial number when conected (wired connection) and the number on the session itself, and double checked the number when entered and it simply doesnt work. i still have no wifi connection and no response when trying to turn it on. besides that the camera still works fine.

@ballamason - The firmware (and the corresponding registration page) is specific to each camera model. In the vast majority of cases we get about serial numbers not being accepted, it's because the person was on the registration page for a camera other than the one they are using.
The links for the manual update on a HERO Session are at https://gopro.com/update/hero_session, but you can also get the firmware updates for our other cameras by using the options on the left side of the screen.
