My Hero2 worked fine a few years ago but has been left untouched on a shelf now, unfortunately with a battery still in it. Now I have read other's posts about how storing the Hero2 with a battery still in it will fry the camera. Is this true, and/or is there any fixes to bring it back?
I have tried all suggestions I have read already, like plugging it in without battery or card, with, into the computer instead, etc., even one person's solution to just take out and put back in the battery over and over dozens of times, but nothing seems to work. Please advise, thank you.
