Hero session won't hold battery life in the cold
[ New ]
Hey so I'll charge my GoPro a couple hours before I go snowboarding, then when I get outside and go to film it will only capture a couple seconds because it says that the battery has died. I missed out on so many breathtaking shots from various places including Zermatt in the swiss Alps and would love if I could talk to someone from GoPro about either fixing this one or replacing it. Thanks

You can reach a GoPro representative by either starting a chat or giving them a call. https://gopro.com/help/PKBContactus

As far as battery life. Lithium batteries are notoriously bad in cold weather and lose their charge rapidly. It's best to either keep the camera on at all times and/or keep it close to your body prior to filming when used in cold environments.
