Hero session 4 has problems since purchased. Will not cycle menu now. Hope your newer cameras work! [ New ]

Camera now will not cycle to be able to pair with a device. One of the absolute worst purchase I have ever made. You guys have great commercials but the actual camera sucks! Problems since day one. I have tried to give this thing time over and over. JUNK!

Hello, @bryans4281. A manual update will help. The steps below will guide you through the process: 

1. Go to the Update page: HERO4 Session
2. Under "Other ways to update" click "Update your camera manually."
3. Enter your serial number and other requested information, click Next Step.
4. Click "Download Update."
5. Click "Click here to download firmware."
6. Follow the steps on the screen for detailed instructions for your operating system.

Make sure that the camera is fully charged and that the SD card is formatted prior to the update. Do not forget to save all your files prior to formatting the card.

After the update, the camera should pair with the GoPro App as normal. Let us know how it goes.
