Hero 9 audio pops [ New ]

Unfortunately reinstalling latest firmware, resetting all settings and formatting SD card audio pops didn't vanish. It's a lemon. I'm taking it back and hopefully next one is fully working as I already sold my Hero 8.

I got my second Hero 9. It has exactly same problem, the camera is completely unusable.

There are audio clicks and pops all over the file and this one also has a yellow tint in video files.

Here's a 4 second clip (5MB) where you can hear the audio popping.

I'm returning it and this will be my last Gopro.

Ho notato che a volte lo fa a volte no, resettata la Hero 9 alle impostazioni di fabbrica non lo faceva più; spenta..riaccesa ed ecco li i disturbli...a volte si sentono a volte no.

Secondo me il FW non è ottimizzato e lagga tantissimo, crea problemi di performance con GPS/gestione microno interno e Touchscreen....qualcosa consuma tutte le risorse e la gopro va in pappa.

Mi auguro sia cosi, se fosse un problema HW lo farebbe sempre in ogni caso mentre mi capita di far registrazioni perfette mentre altre sono palesemente inutilizzabili.

Yes, I have the same experince. The audio clicks are there in every 5th recording or so. None of the usuall Gopro fixes will not help. I've reinstalled the firmware from SD card, I've formatted the card and tried to reset the camera. Nothing helps.

Qualcuno si degna di darci qualche feedback per cortesia? Se i tecnici gopro stanno leggendo possono gentilmente dirci se possiamo aspettarci una soluzione FW? Grazie!

My Hero9 has the same issue, but I think I found a solution. Open your video settings. By default the Wind setting is set to Auto. Set it Off and there's no more popping audio.
