Hero 8 won't connect to Internet WiFi preventing me from live streaming [ New ]

Sad so many people are having problems and no real fix. 

Android 10 user and hotspot/ wifi won't work on livestream. I tried installing the app multiple times, doing factory resets, toggling on/off wifi.. still nothing...

I have a couple routers I will try next with/ without passwords.

Just a waste of time for something that should work out of the box. If it won't work, Gopro can enjoy a product return.

Sorry about the frustration. Fixes on live streaming are being taken care of and will be in a coming update. I don't know when this will be released though.

Watch out for 7.3.2 coming up real soon, it should help out with live streaming issues and camera auto-upload setup.
Hopefully it will fix your problem.
Restart phone after update.

Holy **bleep** another month and no progress on this issue.. Just empty promises.. This POS Hero 8 black was releases on Oct 1st 2019 and here we are in February 2021 and you still havent gotten a fix out to the masses ..

This is why I'll never buy another of you cameras ever again... Worthless..
