Hi @ionbrrj,

Did the blue USB Cable worked for you?

By the way when you say blue do you mean the power connection pins or the one that you plug in to your computer?

Re: Hero 8 - Windows 10 can see the device but won't cooperate

I bought an SB-IF certified USB 3.2 Gen 2 x 1 cable from aliexpress.
Yes! With this cable, Win10 immediately saw and cooperate Gopro 8 and was able to copy files quickly.
This cable is usb c to c IF certified.

Hi @neilh54331,

Please try to follow recommended troubleshooting steps posted above.

Or try this: For Windows PC | For Apple (Mac)

Watch this video if that won't work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uem6BbNEj-I

You can also use other cable or try resetting your USB port.

Another cable that worked for me when other cables did not: NIMASO USB C to C Cable USB 3.0 60W PD Fast Charge/5Gbps Nylon Braided Cord.

Hi Funks,

Thank for Sharing. I bought a new cable and just plugging it in did not work. After following your steps everyting worked as it should.

Now my GP8 is visible for my pc.

There has been a lot of posts on this issue and altough it is my opion that GoPro should suply the right cable in stead of a regular USB it is fine to know that there is a good solution.
