Hero 8 Pre-order

Hi, I preordered a HERO8 Black October first and got my confirmation email that day, but sense that day I haven’t received anything new about it sense. Should it take this long to be shipped? My order number is #NA01982049.

View the massive number of other posts with the same problem. Basically it goes something like this, preorder placed, confirmation email received, no contact from GoPro, website says pending or order not found, phone customer services and be told your order has been cancelled.
This story is getting old right now.
