Hero 8 Power when connected to Media Mod [ New ]

When my Hero 8 is connected to the Media Mod, if I use it and then turn it off, it wont power back on when I go to use it again unless I remove the Media Mod, remove and reinsert the battery, then reinstall it in the Meda Mod. Why do I have to reset the camera every time I want to use the Media Mod?

Is this only observed when the camera is attached to the Media Mod?

What SD card are you using?

Hi Ej!

Yes, it is only observed when attached to the Media Mod.

The SD card I am using is the one that came with the special bonus pack that came sealed inside the GoPro Hero 8 Black packaging from the factory. It is a 32GB SanDisk Extreme card.

I followed the steps to manually update the camera and it appears to have worked! Even though the version on the camera stated it was 2.50, I think the update was corrupted.
