Yes, but it's not really an issue. Why would you say "GoPro Stop recording" if it's not already recording? Just like, why world you say "GoPro Start recording" when it already is?

GoPro doesn't need to fix anything, because there is nothing to fix.

gopro start recording .  Start and stops the video,  did you try that with your cam?

Think of "GoPro Start Recording" and "GoPro Stop Recording" as being a top button / shutter press. 

If you press the top button from standby, it starts the camera.   

If you press the top button while recording it stops the camera.

Same with those two spoken  phrases.

So does GoPro need TWO buttons on top of the camera!?!??!

I say no need.

It's just another example of the need to play with the camera at a quiet time, BEFORE critical, irreplaceable, non-repeatable, one-time-only events.

if its that big of a problem turn voice command off & press the button. The only time it was an issue for me is when i used 2 GoPro's & if 1 didn't hear the command, then when you repeated it the original one would turn off. As said I now start one manually & use voice command on only 1 camera. Problem solved & got to carry on my life
