Re: Hero 7 silver stuck on a boot loop
[ New ]@francoisb5618, reinstalling the firmware update of the camera can help correct any errors with the current software installation. Follow the Manual Update instructions specified in this article: https://community.gopro.com/t5/en/How-to-Update-GoPro-Cameras/ta-p/394229
Additionally, make sure that a recommended SD card https://community.gopro.com/t5/en/SD-Cards-that-Work-with-GoPro-Cameras/ta-p/394308 is used for your camera. Using SD cards that aren't recommended can cause issues like freezing as the card isn't fast enough to write the content, the camera getting hot or battery consumption is higher than normal as the camera stays in an active mode trying to sync to the card.

Re: Hero 7 silver stuck on a boot loop
[ New ]I already tried a manual update and for sure after making sure my card was compatible and fully working
The ways I tried:
- extracting update and copying the folder to the card
- extracting the zip file inside the update folder
- moving the files to the cards directly
- formating the card and copying the update folder
All yields the same result.
As soon as the charger is plugged in without touching any button the camera turns on showing the logo and a progress bar up to 75 prct that turns off and on again. I feel like if the mode button is stuck. However the camera is pretty new, less than 6 months and was only used 3 to 4 times.
If the mode button is pressed the cameras reboots around the 8th seconds
It keeps looping until the battery is drained.
