Hero 7 silver keeps beeping and restarting

My hero 7 silver keeps beeping three times, turning itself off then coming back on stating corrupt file. We have tried using the SD card that came with it and also buying one (Extreme Pro 64gb SanDisk) It will not stay on for more than a minute or 2.

 

Any advice or should we return it?

Hello @grandpeak67745. If you have not done it yet, try running a manual update. The instructions under Manual Update on this link https://gopro.com/help/articles/how_to/software-update-instructions-for-hero7-cameras will guide you through the process. 

 

Also make sure that the SD card you are using is among the recommended cards on this list https://gopro.com/help/articles/block/microSD-Card-Considerations . Let us know how it goes. Thanks!

Hi, we’ve given it a go but no luck, it’s still doing it. The SD cards were on the list too: thanks for your help though. Are there any other suggestions. We’ve only had it since Christmas and not been able to use it which is a shame!

I have the exact same problem.  I did an update over air and manually, have tried two different recommended SD cards.  I can't recover some files.  It won't record in 1080 at all without restarting and defaulting back to 1440.
