Hero 7 no sound

Hi,
So far I had no problems with the sound of video recordings with my Hero 7 Black. Just today, I recorded an important speech with a length of about 20 minutes and found during playback that no sound was recorded. I would not know if and where I can turn off the sound recording. Everything was fine again in tests right afterwards. In the playback screen was in the mentioned recording synonymous no speaker icon as with the other shots. What can this be?
Best regards
Hans-Günter

Re: Hero 7 no sound

There is not a way to turn on/off the audio recording. It's possible that this could be either an issue with the camera itself or with the SD card. Some SD cards can't write data fast enough, so errors like this can occur. If you have another card on our list of recommended cards at https://community.gopro.com/t5/en/SD-Cards-that-Work-with-GoPro-Cameras/ta-p/394308, please try that card and see if the issues continue.

If they do, please reach out to our team at https://gopro.com/help/ContactUs so we can do additional troubleshooting with you.

Thanks,

Jeff
