Hero 7 low light stability

Been using my hero 7 for last few weeks and it was awesome to start with

now when I’m mountain biking and I get into low light areas and low speeds  the footage seems jerky and not so stable

but when I’m in the open and fast it seems to sort itself out.

also how do you check if hypersmooth is enabled

Re: Hero 7 low light stability

Hi @andyl45757

Here is a list of resolution/fps and it's stabilization:

What is HyperSmooth?

We recommend using standard stabilization when on low light situations.

Thanks!

Ej

Re: Hero 7 low light stability

@aragon1006 when you say use standard stabilisation, does this work just by turning hypersmooth stabilisation off? I can't see any standard stabilisation option so I'm assuming the GoPro just uses standard stabilisation when hypersmooth stabilisation is turned off. is this correct?

Re: Hero 7 low light stability

Hi @seumas12345

Yes. Standard stabilization is utilized when the resolution/fps selected does not have Hypersmooth.

Thanks!
