I just received my hero 7 black and spent one day taking some test videos with it, then left it on the charger over night. When I woke up, it had only charged from 1 percent to 3 percent. I did some research online and saw some advice to take the sd card out. I took it out and let it charge for 9 hours while I was at work. It only charged to 16 percent. The camera is off, the red charging light is on, and I am using the cable GoPro provided. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?

Sorry to hear about the trouble. Good to know that you're using the GoPro USB-C cable provided with your camera. What wall plug are you using? Have you tried using different wall plugs? Or power outlet?
Typically, the charging hour of a fully drained battery is two (2) hours when using a standard wall charger with 5V 2A output and using GoPro USB-C cable. This can take up to four (4) hours if the computer is used.
Check out this article for the instruction details about best way to fully charge your camera battery.
Please manually reinstall the camera's firmware. Reinstalling the firmware update of the camera can help correct any errors with the current software installation. Follow the manual update instructions specified on this article: Software Update Instructions for HERO7 Cameras
If reinstalling the firmware update doesn't help, try a secondary battery. If you do not have an extra GoPro battery, please get in touch with our Support team so they can help you on the next steps.
