Roll back by GoPro no by others yes FW 01.70 works for me, and demo'd  seems you know your stuff and gopro does not!

We were asking about the GoPro App version number and not the camera model.

i downgraded my hero 7 to version 1.61 and was able to live stream today on FB.  i was having problems connecting it to my oneplus, but was able to get it to connect to my crApple phone (work phone).  the version of the app is the one from the apple play store.   when asking to upgrade to the new version on my phone, i passed o nthe update.
