Hero 7 White won't charge

Hello,

I have purchased a new GoPro Hero White but unfortunately it won't charge. Please can you advise what I do? The battery is empty.

what power chargers and or ports you tried.    If you can supply the rated Amperage to help the team out to better assist you?   Have you at least  tried a different  charger, and or type Cable.

Hi Ej,

This did not work, my post was not about the go pro not turning on, it's about it not taking a charge. Bit disappointed that brand new and won't take a charge. Please can you provide an update?

Hi fishy comics,

You are a legend, I was using my plug for my garmin watch, switched to a standard USB plug and hey presto. Thank you, can now film my wife with Turtles on her 30th birthday in Gili T. #lifesaver

Hi all. I bought the hero 7 silver today and it would not charge. Red led wont stay on. Ive now used the cable supplied with an old usb plug and that seems to have done the trick. Will keep you posted on results
