Hey team, still love my h5 and h6 for outdoor clips but trying to up my game so just bought a Hero 7. On my Hero 6 I always kept the camera's stabilization disabled when using my karma gimbal. Looked but could not find a reference to the Hero 7 and karma gimbal in the manual but assume it is best to disable as well? Thanks for any advice you have.

Yes, you should disable stabilization when using the Karma Grip. But with that said, I have found by leaving my GP7B on Auto Stabilization it automatically disables the stabilization once it is inserted into the KG.

Karma Grip automatically disables stabilization in the HERO5/6/7. Although, on the HERO5 you can turn it back on (or a least you could, I haven't tried after the updates).

Thanks very much for the replies. I tested my H5, which had v.02.60 update some time ago. I was able to turn on the stabilization while connected to the gimbal but that does not necessarily mean it is not automatically shut off anyway. But all is well, all the 5 and 6 are purring like kittens and smooth as could be with the gimbal despite countless hours of use.
