I have an issue with my GoPro Hero 7 black. I don't know if it's a firmware or a hardware issue.
My videos are made while I'm diving. Several times I had my video images came reddish for 2 or 3 frames.
You can see the problem on this video at 43s or even at 1m00s. it's like a red flash.
Of course, I have theses colour "changes" on the footages as well and I can upload it if needed. One more thing : I saw the red flashes on the camera screen while I was filming.
My settings was : 4K/25p. Protune : Color flat, native white balance, iso auto, shutter auto.
My GoPro is on the last firmware (1.70)
Someone has seen this problem before ? What can I do ?

Can you upload the original unedited file to see if the issue is present? Right now it looks like it's being caused by your editing software. It seems to be doing an auto white balance, you'll see the red flicker and then in the next scene your environment has more of a red tinge to it. So it looks like the software isn't completing a smooth color adjustment automatically.

Thank you for the reply.
No problem to upload the orignal file. I will do that quickly.
But as I said, the red flickering is also present on the footage and I have seen it on the camera screen.
For information, the editing software is Final Cut Pro X. I guess there isn't this kind of issue on a software like this.

This is one of the footage with the problem. https://www.dropbox.com/s/f4mqty0tpmgrrcy/GX010052.mp4?dl=0
You can see the problem at 14s.
It's more difficult to see without the color correction, but it's still there.

@jimbo-77, thanks for providing the sample footage. I personally haven't come across any similar image quality issue before. I can't really distinguish what could've caused the flickers -- it could be either the natural lighting effect underwater or the camera itself (firmware/hardware).
Is this the first instance that you notice such red flashes on the videos recorded using your HERO7 Black? Does it also happen to your other non-underwater footage?
If this is something that is related to a firmware problem on your camera, manually reinstalling the firmware update can help correct any errors on the current software installation. You can follow the manual update instructions specified on this article: Software Update Instructions for HERO7 Cameras

thank you for your reply.
It was the first time I noticed this issue.
In my previous, and my fisrt dive with my GoPro, I didn't notice the problem.
I have to check my footage.
One thing about this first use, I was un 4K50 instead of 4K25 and maybe in white balance auto instead of native.
I barely used my GoPro in non-undewater environment. I can try.
