Hero 7 Black - water inside waterproof camera
[ New ]My GoPro Hero 7 Black was used for the second time time in 1.8 m deep in the pool. After swimming about five minutes under water (not deeper than 1.5 meters) camera stopped responding. Both doors were properly closed and I used camera with the GoPro frame. The battery was removed immediately and the camera placed in a dry place. Camera did not work.

Re: Hero 7 Black - water inside waterproof camera
[ New ]Sorry to hear and say but I have not trust "waterproof and water resist" of this camera since the very beginning. Maybe this cameras looks all the same but unfortunately they are not the same. Some people say that doors are closing different in this camera which is not solid standard. In my case - USB port door cant open just sliding down keeping button push but battery door yes I can open it with one finger. Because of that is better to have som own insurance like this:
or.........
maybe it was just defective ones......
I hope Santa wil bring you a new one..... better one.
Merry Xmas

Re: Hero 7 Black - water inside waterproof camera
[ New ]2nd time round and now water entered, seems that hte first time you had itright doors closed correctly, and this time something did not click.
t You riced it and let dry for days. In the mean time call gopro at your regional number you look it up its there. and see their options.
GoPro will say sorry water is not covered. we can offer you 25% off a new one and must have your camera., you can keep the battery. and all otehr stuff. or they may replace it in full and simply make you a customer or lose you as one.
