Hero 7 Black shows "WIFI is not ready Try Again Later" and cannot do a manually firmware update

At first, I found out that my Gopro Hero 7 shows "WIFI is not ready, Try Again later" when I try to connect it to my iphone.

Then I tried usb cable connecting to my macbook and it failed too.

So I started search the solution on the internet and someone said the problem can be fixed by a firmware update.

Since I can not connect my gopro to pc or iphone, I can only do a manually update, which I have done the steps below(I believe I have done correctly)

1) download the update zip file

2) unzip 

3) have a newly formated sd card and copy the update folder there

4) insert the sd card into gopro

5) power up gopro

6) on the screen, it shows a flashing arrow pointing down to a box

 

After 1 minutes, the arrow stops flashing and stuck there forever.

 

And in the preference->about->Camera Info->Serial Number is empty

Hello @noblehero54885. You got it right down to the camera initiating the update process (the arrow pointing down on the camera icon). Was the GoPro charged prior to the update? Try the process again by first reformatting the SD card and making sure that the camera is charged to at least 50%. Let us know how it works out. Thanks!

Thanks for your response.

the gopro has 100% battery and I have tried to format by PC and Gopro and even change to another sd card.

All the attempts failed.

Your SD card should be a recommended SD card.
